Senior Analyst Nate Martin Discusses Met Coal & Iron Ore/Steel Market with S&P Platts

On Tuesday, March 28, 2023 at 10:00 AM ET, Senior Analyst Nate Martin met with Hector Forster, who is S&P Global Platts’ Senior Editor for Steel Raw Materials and Metals Analysis. Forster is based in London and covers both the met coal and iron ore/steel markets. He led the launch of Platts’ Atlantic coking coal spot assessments in 2012. Forster is responsible for compiling price data from which many coking coal contracts around the world are linked. Forster is in daily contact with the world’s largest buyers, sellers, and traders of metallurgical coal. His focus is Europe and the Americas.
