Robert Bell is the Head of Trading at Benchmark. He has over 25 years experience trading equities, derivatives and new issues and is in charge of overseeing the sales trading staff to ensure both best execution and seamless service to Benchmark’s customer base. Robert also runs Benchmark’s corporate buyback program. Prior to Benchmark, he got his start at wholesale trading firm Sherwood Securities, making markets in stocks on the Nasdaq. From there he worked at Deutsche Bank as a market maker and block trader. Robert graduated with a B.A. in Political Science, with honors, from The George Washington University, and also received a J.D. from Temple University’s Beasley School of Law, also with honors.
