Prior to joining The Benchmark Company in 2022, Ray was a Managing Director at LifeSciAdvisors where he worked with high-growth US & European companies in the life science & medical device sector. During his time at LifeSciAdvisors, Ray was active in development of financial and strategic goal planning in addition to raising capital in both the public and private capital markets as well as having experience in reverse mergers and IPOs. From 2015-2019 Ray served as a Director within Cantor Fitzgerald’s equity healthcare and technology divisions, where he led the West Coast efforts in Institutional Equity Sales, Corporate Access, Equity Capital Markets and successfully executed over 100 equity transactions for corporate clients. Beginning in 2006, Ray spent eight years in Institutional Equity Sales at Wells Fargo Securities where he also managed marketing and equity capital markets efforts on the West Coast. Ray has a BS in Applied Economics from University of San Francisco and an MBA in Finance from AgenoSchool of Business at Golden Gate University.
