Prior to joining The Benchmark Company, Michael was Head of Equity Capital Markets at Axiom Capital Management from 2013 to September 2017. During his tenure at Axiom, Michael dramatically expanded Axiom’s role as Lead Manager, Co-Manager and Selling Group Member. Michael has 30 years of experience as an investment banker, financial services industry executive and entrepreneur. Michael was Co-Founder and President of Capital Growth Financial, LLC which he transformed from a start-up to a “big firm in a little box” with 100 employees and $23 million in annual revenues. Michael capitalized on his structuring and financing skills as Co-Founder and Chief Financial Officer of an on-line European financial content provider which achieved a market capitalization of $800 million (“GLBN-NMS”).
Michael holds an MBA from the Stern School of Business and a BBA degree from Emory University.
