Jamil is a Managing Director with Benchmark’s Investment Banking team in New York. Prior to joining Benchmark, Jamil was a Director of Investment Banking at Rodman & Renshaw (2006-2012). Jamil has over 20 years of investment banking and financial services industry experience and has worked extensively with small and micro-cap companies in the US and internationally on corporate finance transactions, M&A advisory, valuations and fairness opinions. Prior to Rodman & Renshaw, Jamil was a Managing Director and Senior VP at Thomson Financial (now Thomson Reuters) where he spent nine years in corporate advisory roles in New York and London.
Jamil earned an MBA and a Master of Science degree in Finance from the University of Rochester in New York, and a B.S. in Mathematics from the American University of Beirut.
