David is a Managing Director and leads The Benchmark Company’s West Coast investment banking division. Prior to joining Benchmark, David was Managing Director, Head of Equity Placements at Merriman Capital, Inc. (2010-2015). David has extensive experience as an entrepreneur, advisor and board member in addition to the capital markets. David spent the formative years of his career as Vice President in the Institutional Equity Sales Division at Dain Rauscher Wessels/RBC Capital Markets based in San Francisco. He began his career as an associate in the Institutional Equity Sales group with Van Kasper & Company.
David earned his B.A. in International Trade and Economic Relations from UC Berkeley.
