Bruce is a senior healthcare research analyst with more than twenty years of experience both on and off Wall Street. He joined Benchmark in 2018 and focuses on companies that improve patient outcomes while lowering the total cost of care. In May, 2011 Bruce received an FT/StarMine Analyst Award for being the Number 1 stock picker in Health Care Equipment and Supplies and was named a Wall Street Journal All-Star for stock picking in Health Equipment & Supplies. Prior to becoming a Wall Street analyst, he served with Abbott Laboratories as a Project Manager in the Hospital Products Division, and as a Market Planner in the Abbott Diagnostics Division. Bruce began his Wall Street career at Vector Securities and has held senior analyst positions at Wachovia, RBC, and Morgan Joseph TriArtisan. Bruce is a graduate of the University of Wisconsin, holds an MBA in General Management from the Johnson Graduate School of Management at Cornell University, and was recently awarded a Masters in Data Science from the University of St. Thomas

Bill’s 30-year career in research has primarily focused on healthcare and business services. His healthcare service coverage includes staffing and support services to the health care industry, as well as healthcare providers, with an emphasis on outpatient and post-acute services. Before joining Benchmark, Bill was a Managing Director in Research for Emerging Growth Equities and before that Northland Securities. Prior to that he served as Director of Research at Boenning & Scattergood, and as a senior research analyst with Janney Montgomery Scott LLC and Wheat First Butcher & Singer (now Wells Fargo). Bill holds a BA from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and an MBA from Columbia University. He is a member of the Association for Investment Management & Research.
