Fawne Jiang - China Consumer & Internet Analyst

Fawne Jiang joined Benchmark as an equity research analyst in early 2017, covering China Internet. She focuses on opportunities within the Internet and consumer sectors in China with current emphasis on travel & lodging, e-commerce, internet and new media, the most consumer driven sectors in China. She has been covering the US-listed China ADRs since 2008 with one of the longest tenure in the industry. Ms. Jiang is ranked #1 by StarMine in 2019 Top Stock Picker. Prior to Benchmark, Fawne spent over seven years at Brean Capital leading their China research effort, as a managing director and senior analyst. Prior to research, Fawne started her Wall Street career with J. P. Morgan Securities as an investment banker. Fawne graduated from Beijing University, double majoring in Economics and German Literature. She obtained her M.S. from University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and her M.B.A from Duke University. Jie Li holds a BA in Finance from University of International Business and Economics in Beijing China.  He worked for Sun Hung Kai Properties in Hong Kong, one of the world's largest property companies, as a management trainee right after graduation.  Prior to joining Benchmark in March 2017, Jie worked with Fawne Jiang and Long Lin in equity research of China TMT at Brean Capital for five years.
